Tinker Bell is a fictional character in the work of JM Barrie's 1904 novel and 1911 Peter and Wendy. She has appeared in several TV movies and adaptations of the story, in particular, to Peter Pan 1953 Walt Disney animated picture. Initially, only a supporting character described by its creator as'a common fairy, "his incarnation animated was a success and since then has become a common recognized the unofficial mascot of The Walt Disney Company, and the centerpiece of their franchise Disney Fairies included media direct to DVD movie Tinker Bell. In animated form that leaves a trail of twinkling fairy dust.
Tinker Bell's figure was modeled after that Margaret Kerry, who played Tinker Bell in the live action version of Peter Pan
